Job Description

Role: GenAI Data Quality Analyst

Location: Jersey City, New Jersey - Hybrid (Weekly once onsite)

Experience: 5-10 years | Contract: Long Term

As part of the Data Management and Governance team, the Data Quality Analyst will:

  • Conduct comprehensive data profiling on all source systems (e.g., Snowflake, Foundry, Excel).
  • Identify, analyze, and document patterns, inconsistencies, and rule violations.
  • Collaborate with development and data quality teams to define and validate data rules.
  • Raise, track, and manage data issues impacting application trust and scalability.
  • Provide continuous feedback during the development lifecycle and surface defects early.
  • Work with various Data Offices to understand and apply business rules.
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of data quality practices.
  • Contribute to long-term efforts to improve data quality across systems.

Requirements

  • Experience with large datasets on platforms like Microsoft Excel, Snowflake, and Palantir Foundry.
  • Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Python.
  • Ability to analyze spreadsheets for insights and discrepancies.
  • Experience in data profiling and writing data quality rules.
  • Collaborative working across developers, product leaders, and business users.
