Job Description
Seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join a tightly knit small team performing office-based procedures. In this role, everyone shares the workload to work towards shared goals: excellent patient care and experience, exceptionally efficient procedures, and constant improvement.
Cases Handled
You will be one of two Medical Assistants assisting with outpatient interventional radiology procedures in an office setting. These minimally invasive procedures are performed on awake patients using fluoro imaging. Patients undergo standard pre-op checks, followed by a 1-2 hour procedure, and then a 30-minute post-op observation. One MA will manage pre-op/post-op care, while the other assists in the procedure room. MAs may rotate between these positions. Expect 4-6 cases per day, one day per month.
Qualifications
- Experience working in a procedural setting.
- Comfortable with a dynamic setting and varied tasks: charting, checking vitals, talking with patients, opening sterile supplies, and adapting to changing needs.
- Ability to take ownership of tasks, understand team dynamics, and pitch in wherever needed.
- Valid and Current Medical Assistant Certification.
Hours
1 day per month, 8am - 5pm.
