About the Role

Artemis Consulting is seeking a Mid-Level Financial Management Analyst/Consultant to support the Shipbuilding & Conversion, Navy (SCN) new construction process. In this role, you will work directly with government clients and stakeholders including NAVSEA, NAVWAR, and PEO MLB to support complex financial Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) activities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize NAVSEA shipbuilding process knowledge and SCN appropriation expertise.
• Manage financial systems data entry, extraction, and reporting.
• Process funding to vendors with precision and track execution actions.
• Prepare account reconciliations, analysis, and conduct accounting research.
• Extract and analyze data from internal systems; compile reports and presentations.
• Conduct financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting and ad-hoc analysis.
• Daily use of advanced MS Excel techniques including Pivot Tables and V Look-Ups.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years experience in SCN financial management is required. A Bachelor’s degree is necessary along with the ability to obtain a SECRET (up to TS/SCI) security clearance. Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, is essential. Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Job Details

Location: Washington, D.C., US Navy Yard (onsite) Position: Full Time with full benefits, approximately 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with less than 10% travel.
