Job Summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a dedicated Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Saratoga Springs, New York. This role involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients across all age groups in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities of the Travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse

  • Read and interpret cardiac rhythms; successfully pass hospital-proctored tests with >80% accuracy.
  • Deliver emergency care to a diverse patient population, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, and geriatrics.
  • Administer prescribed medications and perform necessary treatments diligently.
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals within the Emergency Department.
  • Accurately document patient information and care using the EPIC charting system.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by floating to different hospital areas as required, utilizing a broad skillset.

Required Experience, Certifications, and Licensure

  • A minimum of 5 years of current Emergency Department experience is preferred.
  • Must possess an active NY State Registered Nurse License.
  • Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications are mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience with telemetry and management of dysrhythmias is essential.
