The Role


As an SMB Account Executive, you’ll help our studio customers understand the value of our all-in-one solution. You will develop new and lasting relationships in a variety of accounts. You’ll join a hardworking, high-energy, fast paced inside sales team and will advance deals through the sales cycle in collaboration with our product & eng team, onboarding, and customer success team.

You’ll focus on small and mid-sized studio businesses. You will need to excel at outbound sales efforts and track your pipeline meticulously. Strong organization & communication skills are key, as you will be the first face of arketa to many prospective customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Strong lead generation skills sourcing net new deals
  • Own the entire sales & upsell process from prospecting to close for new and existing Arketa customers
  • Meet and exceed quarterly sales targets
  • Maintain accurate pipeline management with expert-level forecasting
  • Execute outbound sales efforts with excellence, fearlessness & enthusiasm via email, social media, cold calling, -gifting, in-person visits and more
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Strong product demonstration skills: showcase how the Arketa technology will add value to prospective customers and their unique use cases
  • Communicate forecasted deal flow & contract terms regularly to internal team to ensure a delightful onboarding experience for customers
  • Be an exemplary ambassador for Arketa, both internally and externally
  • Be a team player and work with other sellers internally

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of technology sales experience with a preference for SMB SaaS. You should have a sales methodology that you like and have used before! (Sandler, etc)
  • Ideally experience selling to restaurants, fitness studios or small businesses
  • Ability to prioritize multiple emails, phone calls, social media and more
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, diverse, and highly collaborative team environment. You have a deep understanding of outbound selling and prospecting.
  • You understand a relationship-led, sales motion and have demonstrated a track record of exceeding quotas & selling success.
  • You are a strong written and verbal communicator.
  • You are passionate about our overall mission and how Arketa can help our customers
  • You are scrappy, resourceful and a creative problem solver when discovering the business needs of your customer and understanding how Arketa plugs into the bigger picture.
  • You know how, or will learn prior to starting how to, use HubSpot to track & forecast sales pipeline

For this role, the estimated annual base salary range is $50,000–$60,000, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, we offer equity and performance-based bonuses or commissions, depending on the role. The total On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this position may range from $100,000–$120,000, depending on performance against agreed-upon goals. We believe in compensating fairly and transparently, and we’re happy to provide more detail during the interview process.
