Overview

As a System Administrator, you will play a critical role in maintaining, optimizing, and securing our IT infrastructure. This remote role requires technical expertise to ensure smooth system operations, enhance security, and support our growing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Remote Configuration: Setup and configure software as required.
  • Problem Analysis and Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex system and software issues.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Perform thorough root cause analysis and collaborate with remote teams.
  • Technical Guidance: Offer support and guidance to remote team members and departments.
  • Active Directory Management: Manage user accounts, groups, permissions, and security policies.
  • RBAC Implementation: Design and maintain role-based access controls.
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Process employee and contractor changes with least privilege standards.
  • Okta Identity Management: Manage configurations including SSO, MFA, and provisioning.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records, document common solutions and processes.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve problem management especially for remote operations.

Requirements

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in IT problem resolution with emphasis on Active Directory and Identity Management.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, remote troubleshooting, and support.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate are a plus.
  • Skills: Proven system administration experience, strong problem-solving, and effective remote communication.
  • Other Qualities: Proactive, detail-oriented, adaptable to changing technologies, with knowledge of ITIL and RBAC standards being advantageous.
