ArianeGroup GmbH in Bremen is currently looking for a Cyber Security Analyst, Security Operations for the 'IT Services' department. The role involves the operational monitoring of the IT security landscape, processing security incidents, and supporting the operation and further development of the Information Security Management System (ISMS).

Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Analysis, evaluation, and processing of IT security incidents (Incident Handling) throughout the entire incident lifecycle
  • Operation, monitoring, and further development of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions, and if applicable, other monitoring and detection systems (e.g., SIEM)
  • Conducting security assessments and risk analyses for IT systems and projects, including the creation of recommended measures
  • Collaboration in the operation, maintenance, and further development of the ISMS (e.g., documentation, controls, measure tracking)
  • Support for internal and external audits in the context of information security (e.g., according to ISO 27001 or industry-specific standards)
  • Consulting IT and specialist departments on technical and organizational security requirements as well as compliance regulations in the IT environment
  • Collaboration in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of processes, policies, and standards in the area of IT security

Your Qualifications

  • Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, IT Security, or a comparable qualification
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in IT security, preferably in a Security Operations Center (SOC), Incident Response, or similar areas
  • Profound knowledge in handling EDR, SIEM, or comparable security monitoring and analysis tools
  • Good knowledge in the areas of network and system security, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common IT architectures
  • Experience in dealing with an ISMS, ideally based on ISO 27001 or comparable standards
  • Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements in IT security and data protection (e.g., DSGVO, NIS2, KRITIS, BSI recommendations)
  • Analytical, structured, and reliable way of working, as well as a pronounced security and risk awareness
  • Very good German and good English language skills, both written and spoken

About Our Bremen Site

This site, located on the outskirts of the Hanseatic city of Bremen in north-west Germany, has specialized in the development and manufacture of the upper stage of the Ariane launchers since the start of the program. Its experts are responsible for the design, development, and final integration of the Ariane 6 upper stage. They are also developing the Astris Kick Stage, an additional upper stage powered by the future reignitable bi-propellant engine called Berta, which will further enhance Ariane 6’s versatility. The Bremen site also produces metal tanks for the orbital propulsion systems.
