Job Description

Ares Management is a firm driven by people and culture. The new Fund & Investor Data Group manages firmwide datasets including investor financial data and fund static and financial data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Governance: Oversee storage and management of static fund referential data ensuring quality and completeness.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with Fund Accounting and other teams to standardize and integrate data.
  • Data Monitoring: Maintain dashboards, monitor data integrity, and resolve issues.
  • Reporting: Work with IT to enhance reporting outputs and analytical dashboards.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Support data inquiries and reporting needs across teams.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements for data governance and reporting efficiency.
  • Dataset SME: Act as Subject Matter Expert on fund static and financial data for various projects.

Qualifications

Candidate must have 4-7 years relevant experience, strong communication, excellent analytical skills, and an understanding of fund structures and accounting systems. CPA and/or MBA is a plus, along with familiarity of U.S. GAAP, investor reporting needs, and tools like PowerBI.
