Job Title: IBA Account Handler

Location: London/Hybrid (Typically 2/3 days in the office)

Type: Full time – Permanent

Role Responsibilities

  • Chase overdue IBA balances via phone and email, reporting concerns.
  • Send monthly statements to clients.
  • Allocate receipts from clients.
  • Set up payments to clients, insurers, and claim settlements, ensuring banking procedures are followed.
  • Reconcile and pay underwriter accounts.
  • Resolve account queries, liaising with technical departments and the bank.
  • Provide cover for other IBA staff when absent.
  • Assist in preparing various monthly reports, including turnover and aged debtors, using spreadsheets for management information.
  • Maintain accurate accounting records.
  • Assist in preparing year-end audit files and related schedules.
  • Undertake any other related duties as reasonably required.
  • Meet internal KPIs.

Key Skills

  • Credit control experience.
  • Cashiering experience.
  • Working knowledge of accounting.
  • Understanding of financial accounting processes.
  • Applicable company-specific procedures.
