About the IT Security Analyst Internship
This 12-week internship immerses you in the IT and Cybersecurity teams, allowing you to gain hands-on experience and participate in 12-15 events with your intern cohort. As an IT Security Analyst Intern, you will assist in protecting the company’s network, systems, and data. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related fields.
Essential Functions & Requirements
- Adhere to health, safety policies, and maintain safe practices.
- Monitor and secure the company's network infrastructure.
- Identify vulnerabilities using security tools and protocols.
- Assist with incident response and implementation of security measures.
- Configure firewalls, antivirus software, and other security tools.
- Support vulnerability assessment review and reporting.
- Assist the IT Service Desk with security incidents or tickets.
- Contribute to the IT security awareness program.
- Monitor, evaluate, and respond to risky user behavior alerts.
Education & Competencies
Applicants must be full-time college students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field. Consistent attendance is essential; completion of a minimum of 10 out of 12 weeks is required.
