About The Role

The Competitive Intelligence Manager will track, analyze, and assess changes in the cybersecurity competitive landscape through direct public research. You will provide in-depth contextual competitive analysis and actionable insights on key competitor offerings, helping to shape AWN messaging, sales enablement, product plans, and GTM activities.

  • Proactively research and monitor competitor activities.
  • Deliver insightful, written analyses for various internal teams.
  • Respond in real time to competitor announcements and queries.
  • Create and maintain CI sales enablement content as the subject-matter-expert.
  • Support strategic decision making with competitive guidance.

Responsibilities

You will work autonomously on daily competitive research, prioritize multiple deliverables, and provide clear competitive messaging. Your analysis will focus on identifying emerging threats, technical gaps, and competitive differentiators. You are expected to operate with minimal management oversight while ensuring timely support for urgent queries.

Who You Are

You are a concise communicator, an expert researcher in public web sources, skilled at discerning key signals from noise, and proficient at synthesizing detailed technical information into actionable insights. You enjoy solving puzzles and have proven experience in competitive intelligence in a cybersecurity or managed security services context.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in competitive intelligence, product management, or technical marketing.
  • A degree in computer security or equivalent experience in a cybersecurity role.
  • At least 3 years at a well-known cybersecurity vendor, ideally within MSSP/MDR sectors.
  • Strong written communication and research skills.
