Role Overview - Content Designer
You will join an ambitious AI platform initiative for one of Canada's largest companies. You will focus on optimizing content for AI consumption and contributing to the front-end experience of digital products. Working in an agile product squad with Product Owners, Design Leads, UI/UX Designers, and Engineers, you will deliver innovative solutions and user-centered content.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Strategy & Execution: Develop content strategy, manage CMS, craft clear UX/UI copy, draft and review technical instructional content, and coordinate localization.
- AI Content Optimization: Optimize documentation for AI consumption, establish guiding principles for generative AI tools, test generated responses, and structure source content for enhanced AI understanding.
- Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with product squad members, engage in discovery workshops, align backend and frontend content solutions, present work to stakeholders, and iterate lean practices.
Qualifications
Required: 3-5 years of experience in digital content strategy for B2B/B2C platforms; post-secondary education in Marketing, Business, Communications, Design, or related field; exceptional writing and editing skills; proficiency in Figma/FigJam, Microsoft 365, Jira, Confluence, and Loop; strong collaborative skills in agile environments; knowledge of lean startup and product design methodologies; and an understanding of SEO best practices.
Preferred: Experience with organizing metadata and taxonomies for AI tools, technical writing, CMS authoring tools like Contentful, web analytics tools, French language proficiency, and experience in client services or consulting.
Compensation & Work Arrangement
Hourly Rate: $60.00 – $70.00 CAD per hour. Contract Term: Immediate start through December 31, 2026. Work Model: Remote.

- Support the initiative to optimize content for an AI-driven platform.
- Collaborate with the lead content designer to establish workflow and delegation.
- Drive data-driven content solutions and manage high priority issues.
