About Archer
Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft aimed at advancing sustainable air mobility. The company is designing, manufacturing, and operating an aircraft that carries four passengers with minimal noise.
What You’ll Do as Operations Program Manager
In this role, you will drive execution on complex, cross-functional initiatives critical to launching the eVTOL aircraft into production and deployment. You will:
- Manage technical programs through development, pre-production, and factory readiness.
- Lead cross-functional planning with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and commercial teams.
- Drive supplier and factory readiness, ensuring MBOMs and production systems are validated.
- Orchestrate pre-production builds balancing timing, cost, and quality.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and provide updates to leadership.
What You Need
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in program management, manufacturing engineering, or operations in aerospace or similar industries. Experience in managing technical programs, strong technical acumen, and excellent communication skills are essential. Aerospace experience is strongly preferred, and willingness to travel up to 20% is required.
