About the Data Architect Role
This Data Architect opportunity offers you the chance to join a fast-scaling international iGaming organisation operating within a mature and well-funded technology environment. The business is strategically investing in its cloud data platform, giving you the opportunity to influence architectural direction while working with modern, enterprise-grade infrastructure.
You will operate at the core of the data function, shaping and optimising a cloud-native ecosystem built on AWS with Snowflake as the central data warehouse, placing you directly at the centre of key architectural decisions and giving you full visibility across the organisation’s data landscape. This role provides genuine architectural ownership, from defining modelling standards to ensuring scalability, governance, and performance across high-volume operational and analytical workloads, allowing you to directly influence how data is structured, consumed, and scaled across the business.
This position is ideally suited to someone who enjoys building data platforms properly, setting technical standards, and working closely with senior stakeholders to align architecture with long-term business strategy. It offers strategic impact and cross-functional exposure, giving you the opportunity to shape a high-scale enterprise environment while operating within a stable, well-established organisation, allowing you to focus on building long-term solutions rather than short-term firefighting.
What You Will Do as a Data Architect
- Design and implement scalable AWS-based data architecture with Snowflake as the central warehouse.
- Lead dimensional modelling initiatives (Star/Snowflake schema) and data mart strategy.
- Drive optimisation, governance, and architectural best practices across the data platform.
Skills & Experience Required
- 5+ years’ experience in Data Architecture or Senior Data Engineering roles.
- 4+ years’ hands-on experience with AWS and Snowflake in enterprise environments.
- 4+ years of background in data warehousing, SQL, and modern pipeline frameworks (Airflow/dbt).
Compensation & Benefits
€80,000–€90,000 + Private Health Insurance + Annual Salary Reviews + Optional Parking + Various Wellbeing Allowances
