Role Overview

The Team Lead, Software Engineering supervises a team of engineers who support, enhance, and maintain software applications and tools. This role ensures operational efficiency and adherence to engineering standards through collaboration with cross-functional partners and other teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and direct work schedules for both contractors and employees.
  • Supervise software engineering staff and perform basic people management duties.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and management to complete objectives.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective action planning for software issues.
  • Develop reporting tools to monitor engineering efficiency and standards.
  • Produce regular and ad hoc metrics on performance, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Intermediate software engineering and problem-solving proficiency.

Education And Experience

Typically 2+ years of relevant software engineering experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Previous managerial/leadership experience is preferred but not required.
