Overview
Arcfield, a leader in digital transformation, cyber defense, space mission engineering, and advanced technology innovation, is seeking a Penetration Tester Level 1 to support our Cyber programs. Headquartered in Chantilly, VA with 16 global offices, Arcfield employs over 1,500 professionals with proven expertise in cyber and space defense.
Responsibilities
The Penetration Tester Level 1 will perform security assessments and vulnerability evaluations on customer Information Systems. Key duties include:
- Conduct basic reconnaissance and vulnerability scanning.
- Identify and document common vulnerabilities.
- Perform active and passive penetration testing following government guidelines.
- Prepare detailed Security Assessment Reports and update approved templates.
- Support Risk Management Framework processes and write ISAP/TISSR reports.
- Utilize scripting abilities and network fundamentals for assessments.
- Collaborate with Program Offices to define testing scope.
Qualifications
Required qualifications include a BS degree with 0-2 years experience, ability to maintain a TS/SCI w Poly clearance, and certifications like GCIH, GPEN, or PenTest+. Candidates should possess basic scripting skills, understanding of network fundamentals, and proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools.
