About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Technical Writer to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation. The ideal candidate will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality technical content, including user manuals, online help guides, API documentation, and training material.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals, guides, FAQs, and API documentation.
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to gather and understand technical information.
- Translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand documentation for various audiences.
- Edit, standardize, and proofread content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to style guidelines.
- Organize and structure documentation for maximum usability and accessibility.
- Utilize various tools and platforms to create and manage documentation (Content Management Software like Madcap Flare or other equivalent Software).
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to improve documentation quality continuously.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure documentation is updated in line with product releases.
- Maintain a documentation repository and ensure version control.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to present complex data in clear, concise text.
- Ability to meet deadlines and to work independently.
- Ability to edit and proofread the work of colleagues.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Basic understanding of programming languages or software development processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of AI and other Tools to assist with content generation.
- Self-starter mentality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills is a plus.
- Collaboration with multiple teams across different time zones.
Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required.
- Three years of related experience required.
Desired applicants will be located in Poland.
