Job Overview: Data Management Analyst at Aramco
We are seeking a Data Management Analyst to join Aramco's Reliability & Asset Management Division. This division plays a critical role in monitoring and diagnosing High Voltage assets operated or maintained by Power Systems, aiming to enhance power supply reliability and overall efficiency. This permanent, full-time position requires full relocation to Saudi Arabia, accompanied by an expat relocation package.
Your primary responsibilities will include performing all data management activities for a specific business area, ensuring strict compliance with relevant national data laws and regulations (including NDMO and PDPL). You will be instrumental in implementing data management initiatives, supporting the adoption of corporate data standards and guidelines, and continuously improving data quality across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in data stewardship, ensuring compliance with National Data regulations and laws (NDMO, PDPL).
- Implement and enforce corporate data governance, management policies, GIs, and standards.
- Monitor and check data quality, logging and managing identified issues effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to conduct root cause analysis and resolve data quality issues promptly.
- Capture data and metadata lineage to trace origin, transformations, and movement throughout its lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
- Assign appropriate data classifications based on sensitivity and criticality.
- Define user access levels, permissions, and sharing agreements, ensuring authorized access and appropriate data retention.
- Support the development of business value use cases involving data analytics, AI, and ML, upholding ethical AI standards.
- Assess and improve data management processes, identifying opportunities for enhancing quality, efficiency, and governance.
- Engage closely with the Corporate Data Office, Data Custodians, IT, Technology teams, and business stakeholders.
- Promote awareness and understanding of the data management program within the business area.
- Support privacy compliance activities, embedding Data Privacy into change management processes, assisting with Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs), and acting as a focal point for Data Privacy inquiries.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. An advanced degree is considered a plus.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in data management.
- CDPM or Data Steward Certifications are advantageous.
- Demonstrated analytical capabilities.
- Effective English communication and technical report writing skills.
