Job Description
Training Content Writer
This role offers project-based work with varying hours, starting at approximately 5-10 hours per week/project. Candidates must be Canada-based and provide their own laptop.
Content Creation & Brand Voice
As a Training Content Writer, you will be responsible for crafting clear, engaging, and informative training materials. This includes developing manuals, eLearning modules, videos, and other instructional content. A key aspect of this role is the ability to adapt your writing style to match the specific tone, style, and voice of different client brands, ensuring brand consistency across all materials.
Creative Thinking & Research
You will develop creative approaches to present complex information in a compelling and easily digestible manner. Collaboration with subject matter experts is crucial to understand training objectives and ensure content accuracy and relevance. The content must be tailored for different learner levels, ensuring accessibility and clarity for all audiences.
Collaboration & Optimization
All content must adhere to established guidelines, maintaining consistency across materials and projects. You will work closely with design, marketing, and project management teams to align content with overall brand strategies and visual elements. Responsibilities also include revising and updating existing training materials to ensure they stay current with evolving best practices or product changes, and integrating client and learner feedback to improve content quality and effectiveness. Content must be optimized for digital formats, ensuring it is searchable, interactive, and engaging for the intended audience.
