Graphic Designer Financial Services at Aquent
Our financial client is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Designer with a strong emphasis on production and web design to join a dynamic and fast-paced team. This fully remote, part-time role (20 hours per week) is crucial for ensuring the visual accuracy and brand consistency of all marketing and communications materials, particularly those involving complex data, charts, and graphs. The ideal talent will be responsible for translating content into visually engaging and error-free designs for both digital platforms, including landing pages and hero images, and print. This position is integral to maintaining the company’s professional image and ensuring all external communications are of the highest quality.
This is a fully remote role, 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Design and format various marketing and communication materials, including blog posts, reports, presentations, and web assets.
- Ensure meticulous attention to detail in all designs, especially when working with charts, graphs, and data visualizations.
- Implement and maintain brand guidelines across all visual content, ensuring consistency in fonts, colors, and overall aesthetic.
- Develop and optimize web design elements, including landing pages and hero images.
- Collaborate with content creators and marketing specialists to translate concepts into compelling visual designs.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines.
- Self-project manage tasks and proactively communicate progress and potential challenges.
- Review and proofread designs for errors, inconsistencies, and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing production design and web design work.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly with data-driven visuals like charts and graphs.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) is essential.
- Experience designing for web, including landing pages and hero images.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of brand guidelines and visual consistency.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A background in financial services or other highly regulated industries where accuracy is paramount is helpful.
- Ability to prioritize work effectively and demonstrate strong commitment to project success.
