Job Description
About the Role
Join Aquent, a leading financial institution dedicated to safeguarding its operations and customers. As a FIU Fraud Analyst, you will deploy daily operational strategies to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, leveraging various systems to analyze high-risk transactions and conduct thorough investigations.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate internal and external fraud events.
- Research and analyze high-risk transactions.
- Document and escalate complex alerts and cases.
- Conduct customer outreach to verify fraud evidence.
- Analyze data outputs to detect fraud patterns.
- Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders.
- Provide timely investigations in line with service level agreements.
- Distribute fraud trend information across departments.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2+ years experience in banking, fraud, BSA or criminal justice fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills and time management.
- Proficient in decision-making and problem solving through analytical data.
- Strong customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree.
- Certifications such as CAFP or CFE.
Work Schedule & Location
Hours: Tuesday-Friday 10am-7pm, Saturday 8am-4pm. This role is remote but candidates must reside in AL, DC, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MD, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, OH or PA.
