About the Taxonomist Role
Aquent Talent is seeking a Taxonomist to partner with a leading technology innovator. The role is remote (PST) with onsite opportunities in Seattle, WA (preferred) and is a 12-month full-time assignment. The Taxonomist will drive advancements in digital interaction, organize complex data, and build communication frameworks that ensure consistency and interoperability.
What You'll Do
- Expand and refine the communication taxonomy for internal initiatives.
- Coordinate with diverse teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
- Develop, manage, maintain, and iterate on the taxonomy framework.
- Provide recommendations for taxonomy management and impact product strategies.
- Transform abstract concepts into valuable, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, and data engineers.
What You'll Need
- Expert ability to utilize taxonomy management systems.
- Expert problem-solving skills in complex and ambiguous environments.
- Experience contributing to product strategy and vision.
- Ability to build alignment among distributed stakeholders.
- Proven experience in building and implementing taxonomies.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical training.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Strong leadership communication skills.
- Experience with marketing taxonomy.
- Familiarity with advanced semantic technology platforms.
