The Internship Program
This 10-week summer program gives interns real work responsibilities. Interns work alongside experienced professionals, participate in the AQR Quanta Academy Summer Term curriculum featuring over 40 hours of educational events, and gain firsthand experience in global systematic investing.
Your Role as a Research Product Specialist Summer Intern
In this role, you will support senior specialists by producing and sharing customized analytics for client portfolios. The role involves:
- Client communication: Preparing review materials and creating presentations for business development.
- Portfolio monitoring: Analyzing portfolio exposures and performance, and developing new monitoring tools.
- Serving as an in-house expert on AQR products and interfacing with multiple teams including portfolio management, trading, legal, and marketing.
What You’ll Bring
Candidates should be graduating in December 2026 or Winter/Spring 2027 in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Math, or Engineering. Key requirements include:
- Programming skills, with Python highly preferred.
- Strong quantitative and problem solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High intellectual curiosity and meticulous attention to detail.
