About The Data Analyst Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL and Python to transform raw data into actionable insights. In this role, you will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to analyze data, build comprehensive reports, and support critical data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical data skills, business acumen, and the ability to communicate complex insights clearly and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Extract, clean, and transform data using SQL.
- Perform exploratory data analysis using Python.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs for business stakeholders.
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Support business decision-making through data insights and recommendations.
- Automate recurring reports and data processes.
- Work with engineering teams to ensure data quality and integrity.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, joins, aggregations, and performance optimization.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis, utilizing libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and data visualization libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server).
- Ability to translate business requirements into effective data queries and actionable insights.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Experience with data warehousing concepts.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Basic knowledge of statistics.
- Experience working in agile teams.
