Job Overview
APTIM is seeking an experienced Engineer for a long-term design-build project in Brooklyn, NY. This field position supports QA/QC activities for the Brooklyn project and additional APTIM Projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Manage Project Quality Control Plan implementation.
- Implement and document the Three Phase Inspection Process.
- Collaborate with the Engineer of Record for design interpretation.
- Serve as the project Vibration Specialist for adjacent structures.
- Evaluate and report optical monitoring data trends.
- Produce Daily Quality Control Reports.
- Communicate consistently with clients, partners, and APTIM leadership.
- Liaise with the engineering team to resolve conflicts and requirements.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field (Geotechnical, Civil, or Structural preferred).
- Licensed New York State Professional Engineer.
- 10-20 years of relevant experience.
- 5+ years of vibration experience.
- USACE CQM Certification is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- 40 Hour Hazwoper Training is a plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft suite and project-specific standards.

Benefits
APTIM offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, insurance coverages, retirement program, and paid absences. The targeted salary range for this position is $150,000.00 to $200,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
