Job Overview
APTIM Energy Transitions is seeking a Project Analyst with programmatic and project management experience to support the HOMES and HEAR team. This role provides technical and administrative support to APTIM's Home Energy Rebates Programs created through the Inflation Reduction Act, including the Home Efficiency Rebate Program and the Home Electrification and Appliance Rebate Program. The role reports to the Operations Manager and involves developing program designs in line with U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) guidelines, leading reporting and data analytics, and providing project management support.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Administer and execute federally funded energy efficiency projects.
- Develop DOE-aligned reporting for operations leadership.
- Create and improve program processes collaborating with leadership.
- Conduct QA/QC and offer process improvement recommendations.
- Support contract management and track program performance.
- Assist in resolving project and operational issues.
- Facilitate project management tasks including meetings and action follow-ups.
- Review application forms for compliance with program policies.
- Maintain accuracy in system databases and records.
- Adhere to APTIM quality, safety and OSHA regulations.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- 3-5+ years’ experience in program/project management in energy programs.
- Ability to analyze data and develop actionable insights.
- Strong independent work ethic and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experienced in Microsoft Office software.
- Willingness to travel at least quarterly.
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- CEM, PMP or similar certification (or willingness to obtain).
- At least 2 years’ experience in the energy efficiency industry.
- Knowledge of residential energy efficiency and electrification technologies.
- Experience with project management and analytics software.
