Job Overview

APTIM is seeking an in-office Leachate Evaporator Product Manager at LFG Specialties, a leader in gas processing and leachate treatment systems. The role involves handling diverse project management tasks, ensuring technical precision and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Manage projects from concept through completion including field start-up support.
  • Review client specifications, industry regulations, and proposal writing tasks.
  • Develop drawings (PFD, P&ID), O&M manuals, and technical documentation.
  • Supervise project team personnel while managing budgets and resources.
  • Support business development and represent APTIM in client and industry forums.
  • Provide technical guidance with mass/energy balances, equipment specs, and control narratives.
  • Lead HAZOP reviews and interpret customer needs to deliver solutions.

Basic Qualifications

  • BS in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or a related discipline with 10+ years' experience.
  • Experience with gas compression, leachate treatment, wastewater, and combustion equipment.
  • Strong grasp of engineering and business principles including cost estimating and pricing.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for client and internal communications.

Desired/Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with original equipment manufacturers is preferred.
  • Industry experience in chemical, solid waste, or wastewater treatment.
  • 5+ years in project management and 10+ years in relevant design/fabrication roles.
