The Role
The Engineering Manager role at Apply Digital is a technical team leadership position focused on team effectiveness, delivery health, and career development. You will work across multiple initiatives, guiding teams through shifting priorities, evolving processes, and real-world delivery challenges. This role involves shielding your team under pressure while promoting growth and accountability.
You will collaborate with globally recognized brands on diverse projects, from customer-facing platforms to AI-driven solutions. While you won't be coding day-to-day, you will contribute to staffing decisions, risk management, and technical guidance to ensure robust project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Coach and develop engineers to thrive in their careers
- Support team health and sustainable workloads for up to 15 engineers
- Navigate shifting priorities and organizational changes
- Guide staffing, risk management, and sound technical decisions
- Partner in recruiting, evaluating, and onboarding engineering talent
- Collaborate globally to harmonize practices and staffing
- Provide performance feedback and resolve challenges
- Shape engineering practices and integrate emerging AI technologies
