A Day In The Life
As a Machine Learning Engineer on the Research Science team at AppLovin, you will focus on optimizing machine learning models in advertising technology to enhance ad placement efficiency and overall performance. You will collaborate with developers worldwide, applying cutting edge research and your technical expertise to drive business growth.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Develop and improve ad-related machine learning models for better predictions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data pipelines and inference performance.
- Monitor latest advancements in machine learning and ad tech.
- Apply novel research findings to practical projects.
- Design experiments to validate hypotheses and enhance system performance.
Who You Are
You hold a Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields and have a solid foundation in machine learning theory and practice. Familiarity with Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and experience in model and inference optimization is required. Excellent teamwork and communication skills are essential.
Additional Strengths
Experience in advertising technology or related fields, C++ development experience, and publications in top conferences (KDD, NeurIPS, SIGIR, Recsys) are highly valued.
