Position Overview: People Business Partner at Applied Systems

We are seeking a People Business Partner to collaborate directly with Engineering Managers and Directors. This role is crucial for hiring top talent, championing AI adoption, and continually enhancing the employee experience as we strategically build for the future.

What You’ll Do

  • Build Great Teams: Provide expert advice on best practices for hiring and coaching, fostering excellence as we develop balanced and high-performing technology teams.
  • Insist on the Highest Standards: Establish and uphold rigorous standards, addressing the fundamental causes of challenges impacting our Technology Teams.
  • Own the Outcome: Define your success by the tangible outcomes achieved by our Technology Teams, focusing on driving effective practices and engagement to ensure organizational success.
  • Think Big: Partner with Centers of Excellence within the People Team to collaboratively define and achieve measurable improvements across the organization.
  • Invent and Simplify: Proactively identify and remove barriers within standard processes to enable high velocity and adaptability within the Technology Team.
  • Build for Scale: Design reusable resources and tools that increase leverage and impact year-over-year, supporting sustained growth.
  • Create Momentum: Empower leaders and teams to act and learn rapidly by delivering impactful resources, insights, and tools that support peak performance.

We’re Excited to Learn More About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has the ability to work from an Applied Systems office or 100% remotely.
  • Possesses 5+ years of experience in improving talent practices and business outcomes.
  • Has experience partnering with Technology Leadership, ideally within a Software as a Service (SaaS) environment with a complex product ecosystem, global teams, and matrix structures.
  • Demonstrates working knowledge of essential tools and thoughtful experience with AI integration.
