Position Overview

The Associate Product Manager - Employee Benefits will define and execute the strategy for Applied’s Employee Benefits products. This involves tailoring agency management system experiences, connecting carrier and partner solutions, and leveraging BI solutions for driving insights.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria using Agile methodologies.
  • Ensure development teams are continually fed with clear roadmap and release plans.
  • Facilitate communication with internal stakeholders to solve business problems with tech solutions.
  • Contribute to product roadmap planning through market research and data-driven decisions.
  • Define detailed design specifications for full-stack software projects.
  • Provide sales support by communicating the value proposition of solutions.

Your Experience

Requirements include 1-3 years in Product Management, Product Ownership, or Business Analysis in an Agile environment. Domain experience in Employee Benefits is preferred along with familiarity with data analytics, visualization tools (e.g., Looker), and full-stack applications. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Information Science, Computer Science, or related fields is required.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in Benefits Administration.
  • Developing data-driven products and solutions.
  • Insurance Carrier experience.
  • Working with APIs.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with tools like Jira or Confluence.

Location & Work Arrangement

Candidates must reside in North America. The work arrangement is hybrid/remote.
