The Process Engineer at Applied Materials is responsible for driving innovative techniques to characterize hardware, design experiments, and implement new technologies within safety guidelines. This role involves working on significantly complex systems across various programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive innovative techniques for hardware characterization and analysis.
- Design, collect and analyze data, and compile comprehensive reports.
- Implement new technology, products, and analytical instrumentation.
- Train engineers and guide them in new methodologies.
- Develop and execute process engineering projects.
- Interact with key customers to resolve complex process issues.
- Generate internal/external documentation and technical reports.
- Define and validate film measurement techniques and train staff.

Recognized as a technical expert with in-depth knowledge. The role requires anticipating business and regulatory issues and recommending improvements.
Leadership & Problem Solving
Leads high risk and complex projects, using conceptual and innovative thinking to develop effective solutions that impact program direction and resource allocation.

Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required with 10 - 15 years of experience in process engineering.

- Shift: 10-Day 8-Hr (United States of America)
- Travel: 25% of the time
- Relocation: Eligible
- Salary Range: $163,000 - $224,000 (based on multiple factors)
