About The Role: Application Engineer, Technical Customer Lead

We are hiring for all levels of experience and are looking for bright engineers interested in leading customer engagements and owning overall account strategy. Our Technical Customer Leads possess a unique mix of software expertise, domain knowledge, and an execution-driven mindset. They work closely with engineering teams to ensure Applied’s products provide maximum impact, advancing customers’ autonomy initiatives. This is a critical role for managing customer relationships and ensuring success with Applied’s products and expertise.

At Applied Intuition, you will:

  • Own account strategy for major enterprise customers of Applied.
  • Manage executive and leadership relationships.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their development needs and use cases for autonomy to propose effective use of Applied’s products.
  • Ensure customer needs are supported by the broader engineering team through effective prioritization.
  • Collaborate with our sales teams to gather requirements through detailed technical discussions and workshops.
  • Explore new product development areas driven by a strategic understanding of the customer landscape.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Experience working with automotive OEMs or suppliers.
  • Prior work in autonomous vehicle or robotics development domains.
  • 3+ years as either an application engineer or a developer with experience in interacting with end-customers.
  • Familiarity with best practices in large-scale software development.
  • Strong communication skills and a focus on solving customer problems.
  • Fluency in German, English or Swedish.

Nice to have:

  • Prior background in technical sales or application engineering for simulation products.
  • Prior work in autonomous vehicle development domains.
  • Experience with automotive OEMs or suppliers.
