About the Opportunity

As a full-time Hydraulic Technician/Mechanic - Machinist based in Surrey, BC, you will work 50% in the shop and 50% in the field. You will inspect, diagnose, repair, and rebuild hydraulic components and systems while contributing to the operational excellence of the AIT Surrey Shop. Field service may involve occasional overnight travel and weekend work.

• Inspect and repair pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders.
• Conduct failure analysis and prepare detailed reports.
• Perform system troubleshooting in both shop and field environments.
• Provide professional customer communication and technical support.
• Support quoting, job assessments, and continuous improvement efforts.

About You

You should have 2+ years of hands-on experience in hydraulic systems or industrial maintenance, ideally with training as a Millwright, Heavy Duty Mechanic, or Machinist. A valid driver's license is required and certification as a Red Seal Journeyperson is considered a strong asset.
