Description

As a manager within Special Projects, you will lead a team that creates innovative generative AI experiences for iOS apps and frameworks. Working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment, you will collaborate cross-functionally with software teams, UI designers, product marketing, machine learning, and privacy engineers from conceptualization to deployment.

You will build and mentor a diverse, high-performing quality engineering team. With a strong technical and people management background, you will drive quality from product definition through to release, establish quality metrics, and build test automation infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and manage teams of quality engineers and managers.
• Set strategic direction and technical leadership for generative AI experiences.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define quality gates and release criteria.
• Develop and scale test automation frameworks and tooling.
• Communicate roadmap status and quality risks to senior leadership.
• Leverage generative AI tools to enhance quality processes.

Minimum Qualifications

Over 6 years leading software quality teams with experience managing managers; passion for customer-focused interfaces; exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and strategic planning skills; proven experience in building test automation infrastructure on iOS; and a strong commitment to leveraging AI tools.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with AI principles and foundation models, evaluating non-deterministic systems, and deep knowledge of Apple OS-level components.

Pay & Benefits

Base pay ranges between $208,400 and $365,400. Additional benefits include stock programs, medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, product discounts, educational reimbursements, and potential bonuses or relocation support.
