Description
Apple is looking for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join their Global Network Services (GNS) team. You will work in a dynamic team environment leading large-scale network projects from planning through deployment and handover. This role demands deep hands-on networking expertise combined with proven project management skills for enterprise or multi-site deployments. You will also develop custom applications and automation tools to streamline network provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes, ensuring efficient operations in complex settings.
Responsibilities
- Lead and execute large-scale network projects from planning through deployment and handover.
- Develop custom applications and automation tools for network provisioning.
- Drive efficiency and reduce deployment times in complex environments.
- Focus on customer experience and provide technical leadership and mentorship.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 8 years of experience as a Network Engineer.
- At least 3 years in a lead role on large-scale network deployments.
- Deep understanding of TCP/IP (v4 and v6), BGP, and MPLS technologies.
- Solid grasp of LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
- Experience with carrier-grade networking with Cisco, Juniper, and Arista.
- Proficiency in MacOS, Linux, or other UNIX variations.
Preferred Qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent education.
- Advanced industry network certifications.
- Fluency in spoken and written English.
- Flexibility for early morning or late night calls.
Pay & Benefits
The base pay range for this role is between $154,600 and $274,900, determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, Apple employees can participate in stock programs, benefit from comprehensive medical, dental and retirement plans, receive educational reimbursements, and may qualify for discretionary bonuses and relocation assistance.
