About the Role
The Lead Trust & Safety Intelligence Engineer at Apple plays a pivotal role at the crossroads of data science and legal analysis. You will work with massive internet-scale data sets and collaborate with Legal, Regulatory, and Trust & Safety teams to provide clear and actionable insights that drive compliance and user protection.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with legal and regulatory teams for data advisory.
- Query and analyze large datasets to support compliance initiatives.
- Design data models, develop pipelines, and support legal reporting.
- Communicate complex data insights to diverse stakeholders.
- Build and socialize roadmaps for data production and transparency.
Minimum Qualifications
5-10+ years of combined experience in advanced data analysis and legal advisory roles. Strong proficiency in SQL, data engineering tools and experience working with regulatory compliance, fraud prevention, and user safety data analyses is required. Excellent communication skills and proven experience with handling internet-scale data structures are essential.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in fast-paced technology companies with regulatory reporting, competition analysis or policy enforcement expertise. Advanced skills in Python, R, or similar languages and familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Spark) are highly desirable. A Law Degree (JD/LL.B) or paralegal certification is an added advantage.
Pay & Benefits
Base pay for this role ranges between $212,000 and $318,400, determined by expertise and location. Employees benefit from Apple stock programs, comprehensive benefits, educational reimbursement, and additional bonuses or relocation support.
