Apple’s Sales Engineering team is building high-impact applications for our channel partners, and we are looking for an iOS & Generative AI Software Engineer to help us craft exceptional experiences and build innovative, scalable, and high performing iOS applications that shape next generation apps. We are looking for self-motivated engineers with experience building high-quality applications and a passion for delivering delightful, intuitive user experiences.
Description
Do you want to work in a fast-paced environment? Do you dream about solving problems with code? How about building the foundational components of large-scale, multi-platform systems? If so, come join the Sales Engineering team to help architect, build, and scale our high-impact iOS applications. The ideal candidate is an experienced iOS developer with a keen eye for usability, and a passion for building reliable, high-performance applications. You’ll work side by side with multiple teams to design and code applications that innovate, including enabling AI/ML solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build innovative, scalable, high performing, and high impactful iOS applications.
- Prototype and scale innovative concepts, with a focus on AI/ML technologies.
- Build foundational components of large-scale, multi-platform systems.
- Partner closely with product management, design, domain experts, and other teams to translate user needs and creative visions into exceptional software experiences.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years of engineering experience building applications for iOS, iPadOS, and/or macOS.
- 2+ years with SwiftUI and/or UIKit/AppKit.
- Hands on experience in Gen AI technologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Swift and experience with SwiftUI and/or UIKit/AppKit.
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality and high-performance applications.
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI/ML concepts, and/or integrating AI features into applications.
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Experience consuming and integrating with APIs.
- Understanding of app architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, etc.).
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Experience writing unit, UI, and integration tests using tools such as XCTest, XCUITest, or similar.
- Ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, project managers, and business stakeholders to define and deliver world-class features.
Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $220,900, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan. You’ll also receive benefits including: Comprehensive medical and dental coverage, retirement benefits, a range of discounted products and free services, and for formal education related to advancing your career at Apple, reimbursement for certain educational expenses — including tuition.
