Description

Apple’s Advertising Platforms group is seeking a Full Stack Developer - Apple Ads to build highly scalable platforms for advertising on Apple News and App Store Search Ads. This role involves designing and developing large-scale, web-based distributed systems using frontend and backend technologies adhering to Apple’s high standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop distributed systems with frontend and backend tech.
  • Improve system performance, reliability, scalability, and resilience.
  • Build features rapidly using Agile and CI/CD methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Apple.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience with Java, Python, ReactJS, NodeJS in Unix environments.
  • Experience with AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps technologies.
  • Knowledge of Git, Docker, Kafka, and Solr.
  • Experience in applying AI to solve engineering or business challenges.
  • Proven work on high-performant, intuitive user interfaces.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong focus on software quality with unit testing experience.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with building components that improve efficiency and scalability.
