About the Business Operations Project Manager Role at Apple
Apple is actively seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Project Manager to join the Wallet Business Operations team. This pivotal role involves overseeing the successful onboarding and launch of a diverse range of partners, including banks, transit operators, payment networks, venues, and loyalty schemes, across multiple countries. The Business Operations team is fundamental to ensuring the operational readiness and smooth launch of Apple Wallet partners, as well as maintaining ongoing data management, key metric tracking, and effective day-to-day partner interactions.
As an integral part of the EMEIA Business Operations team, based in London within the Apple Pay International division, you will be directly responsible for the strategic planning and precise execution of launches for Apple Wallet partners and new features. You will work in close collaboration with various internal teams such as business development, operations, finance, product, engineering, and analytics. Your responsibilities will include managing a consolidated project pipeline, coordinating all necessary activities, and continuously refining operational processes. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment and is prepared to actively contribute to achieving our collective objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the pipeline of partners undergoing onboarding for Apple Pay and Wallet.
- Lead critical operational relationships with Apple Pay and Wallet’s diverse partners, including banks, transit providers, payment networks, and credential managers.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration with both internal groups and external partners to enhance the efficiency and scalability of our operations, adopting a leadership and customer-focused approach.
- Develop and expand planning and launch management systems, covering all stages from pre-planning through to post-launch activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in operational project management within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with multiple international stakeholders in large organizations.
- A track record of successfully implementing, streamlining, and managing complex operational processes.
- Strong analytical skills for processes and data, with the ability to identify and propose improvements.
- A genuine passion for new technology, innovative tools, and continuous innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in English is essential, with additional languages such as French, Spanish, or German being highly desirable.
