Overview
Apple Bank, one of the largest community banks in the NYC area with over 160 years of history, is offering an exciting 10-week paid summer internship program in Information Technology. The internship focuses on professional development through hands-on work, formal learning, mentoring, and team projects.
Program Details
The internship runs from Monday, June 1, 2026, through Thursday, August 6, 2026, with an initial in-person onboarding week in NYC followed by a hybrid work model (3 days in the office, 2 days remote). Interns will be assigned to one of the teams based on business needs and previous experience, such as Digital Applications, Technology Services & Engineering, IT Systems, or Technical Support.

Essential Duties and Requirements
This internship is designed for motivated individuals with a passion for banking and technology. Though prior extensive work experience is not required, you must demonstrate self-motivation, initiative, teamwork, strong communication skills, and creative problem-solving ability.
Skills and Education
- Currently enrolled in a related Bachelor’s degree program as a rising Senior (expected graduation date December 2026 - May 2027)
- Preferred GPA of 3.0 or above
- Proficiency in MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
