Overview of the Data Solutions Associate Partner Role
As a Data Solutions Associate Partner at Aon, you will be a pivotal leader in the market, responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with strategic clients and individual accounts. Your expertise in understanding client needs and crafting bespoke solutions will be crucial for driving Aon's growth and success within the technology sector. This role places you at the forefront of talent analytics and thought leadership, leveraging your deep market understanding and Aon's extensive data to inform strategic decisions and differentiate the company.
Core Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Grow Data Solutions revenue, client participation, and employee count specifically within the technology sector.
- Expand data within the technology sector, adhering to the global strategy, in collaboration with Data and Analytics Leaders, regional sector leaders, and partners across Talent Solutions.
- Identify and capitalize on high-potential growth areas, including new markets, new products/services, and opportunities to scale existing offerings regionally or globally.
- Contribute to revenue growth and data acquisition, fostering referrals to Talent Advisory and other Human Capital Solutions.
- Deliver insightful data trends to strengthen technology client groups and provide technology-specific insights across all sectors.
- Lead industry trends webinar series and client events focused on compensation and market practice trends for rewards/compensation clients.
- Enhance market presence through speaking engagements and published articles within Technology sector channels.
- Serve as both an external and internal subject matter expert, effectively articulating Aon's value proposition and supporting sales efforts in collaboration with the sales team.
- Offer sector expertise and guidance to Aon’s client success managers and enterprise leaders, ensuring comprehensive support for clients' end-to-end needs.
- Provide proactive, scaled client relationship management tailored to the technology sector.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- 10 -15 years of consulting experience or experience as a Total Rewards Leader within the Technology Industry.
- Current awareness of competitor products and offerings.
- Up-to-date knowledge of broad HR issues within the industry and their relevance to potential clients and the Rewards content area.
- Demonstrated technical expertise in areas such as compensation/total rewards strategy, including job evaluation, job leveling/slotting, compensation structure design, pay policies and administration, pay systems and technology solutions, business case development, implementation planning, and organizational change.
- Proven ability to lead client meetings and forums effectively.
- Strong business writing skills for correspondence and reports.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Robust client relationship management skills and a proven track record in business development and selling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Exceptional project management skills.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines (Business, Finance, HR).
- MBA (or equivalent) and CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
