About the Solutions Architect, Applied AI Role
As an Applied AI team member at Anthropic, you will serve as a Pre-Sales architect, becoming a trusted technical advisor for large enterprises. Your primary goal will be to help them understand Claude's value and envision its successful integration and deployment into their technology stack. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong customer-facing skills to design innovative LLM solutions that address complex business challenges while upholding Anthropic's high standards for safety and reliability.
You will work closely with our Sales, Product, and Engineering teams, guiding customers from initial technical discovery through to successful deployment. You will leverage your expertise to clarify Claude's capabilities, assist in developing evaluations, and design scalable architectures that maximize the value derived from our AI systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with account executives to thoroughly understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions, ensuring strong alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
- Act as the primary technical advisor to enterprise customers throughout their Claude adoption journey, from initial discovery and evaluation to successful deployment. This requires internal coordination across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure customer success.
- Provide support to customers who are developing projects using both the Claude API and Claude for Work.
- Create and deliver compelling technical content, adapted for various audiences, ranging from in-depth technical discussions for engineering teams to business value-focused conversations with executives.
- Guide technical architecture decisions and assist customers in effectively integrating Claude into their existing technology infrastructure.
- Help customers develop robust evaluation frameworks to accurately measure Claude's performance within their specific use cases.
- Identify recurring integration patterns and contribute valuable insights back to our Product and Engineering teams to inform future development.
- Travel occasionally to customer sites for workshops, in-depth technical discussions, and relationship building.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the latest advancements in LLM capabilities and effective implementation patterns.
Key Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in technical customer-facing roles, such as Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, or Technical Account Manager.
- Native French speaker with fluent English proficiency.
- Demonstrated experience working with enterprise customers, navigating complex buying cycles that involve multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional ability to build strong relationships and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders, including C-suite executives, engineering teams, and IT personnel.
- Strong technical communication skills, capable of translating customer requirements seamlessly between technical and business stakeholders.
- Proven experience in designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating them with various enterprise systems.
- Comfortable and proficient with Python.
- Familiarity with common LLM frameworks and tools, or a solid background in machine learning or data science.
- Excitement for engaging in cross-organizational collaboration, adept at working through trade-offs, and balancing competing priorities.
- A genuine passion for teaching, mentoring, and contributing to the success of others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to convey complicated topics in easily understandable terms to a diverse set of external and internal stakeholders.
