Position Overview

The Recruiting Analytics Scientist role is part of the People Data Solutions team, focusing on recruiting and talent acquisition research. In this role, you will support the Recruiting organization by applying rigorous scientific methods to advance our understanding of talent acquisition effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Research Design & Scientific Inquiry: Design and execute systematic studies, test hypotheses, conduct longitudinal research, and perform meta-analyses.
  • Talent Analytics & Insights: Transform data into actionable insights, develop measurement frameworks, and apply advanced analytics.
  • Process Optimization & Operations: Analyze recruiting processes and support strategic initiatives for process improvements.
  • Assessment & Decision Science: Evaluate candidate assessment methodologies, build predictive models, and improve hiring outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Statistics, Data Science, I/O Psychology, Economics, Behavioral Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of research or people analytics experience with strong quantitative methods expertise.
  • Proficient in SQL and Python/R with experience in statistical analysis, experimental design, and machine learning.
  • Experience in data visualization and communicating research findings to stakeholders.
  • Background in recruiting analytics and familiarity with modern People Analytics tech stacks.

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role where staff are expected to be in the office at least 25% of the time. Visa sponsorship is available with certain conditions. Anthropic values diverse perspectives and encourages all qualified candidates to apply.

Location & Compensation

This role is based in San Francisco with a location-based hybrid policy. The expected base compensation is between $245,000 and $300,000 USD annually with a comprehensive benefits and equity package.
