About the Role
As a Protective Intelligence Analyst, you will be part of our growing protective services team, identifying, assessing, and mitigating threats to Anthropic's people, facilities, operations, and reputation. You will generate actionable intelligence that drives security decisions across the organization.
This role sits at the intersection of intelligence analysis, threat management, and executive protection and offers the unique opportunity to shape the Protective Intelligence (PI) program from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Conduct all-source intelligence collection and analysis to identify physical security threats.
- Produce clear analytical products for executive decision-making.
- Support executive protection, travel security, and major events.
- Monitor open-source channels, social media, deep and dark web platforms for emerging risks.
- Investigate and triage concerning communications and online threats using established methodologies.
- Track geopolitical developments and sector-specific threat trends affecting Anthropic’s operations.
- Build relationships with intelligence partners, law enforcement, and industry peers.
Qualifications
Required: Bachelor's degree or higher with 8+ years of experience in protective intelligence, corporate investigations, or related fields. Expertise in OSINT tradecraft, threat assessment methodologies (e.g., TRAP-18, WAVR-21), and excellent communication skills are essential.
Preferred: Experience in high-growth tech companies, specialized certifications (CTM, CPP, PCI), familiarity with privacy law, and skills in link analysis, data visualization, or geospatial intelligence tools.
Logistics & Compensation
This is a full time role with an annual salary between $175,000 and $220,000 USD. Staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time under a hybrid policy. Visa sponsorship is available with reasonable efforts.
