Moca Network, a flagship project by Animoca Brands, is developing a chain-agnostic digital identity infrastructure for the open internet. Its primary product, AIR Kit, provides a universal embedded account for users to manage digital assets, identity, and reputation across various ecosystems. This infrastructure empowers Web2 and Web3 projects to integrate blockchain features natively, ensuring users maintain a consistent identity and access to DeFi and consumer services across all adopting apps and chains.

Position Overview: Data Architect

As a Data Architect for Moca Network, you will be instrumental in designing and overseeing a highly scalable data infrastructure. This infrastructure will support critical functions such as operational analytics, seamless partner integrations with AIR Kit, and comprehensive business intelligence. Your role is vital in maintaining data integrity, ensuring robust security, and upholding compliance standards, directly contributing to Moca Network's vision of becoming the leading identity data chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Architecture & Design: Design and implement comprehensive data architectures, models, and schemas to ensure optimal scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Data Pipeline Development: Construct and manage efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for both real-time and batch processing across diverse systems.
• Data Warehouse Management: Develop and fine-tune data warehouses and data lakes for effective data storage and swift retrieval.
• Data Governance & Security: Establish and enforce robust data governance frameworks, quality standards, access controls, and ensure compliance with regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Analytics & BI Support: Facilitate advanced analytics capabilities and drive data-driven insights for product, operations, and marketing teams, with a specific focus on AIR Kit adoption and the Global Rewards Program. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data questions and build AI-powered data platforms for natural language querying.
• On-Chain Data Management: Engineer systems for indexing, querying, and analyzing blockchain data, particularly for the Moca Chain. Develop pipelines to extract on-chain events, AIR Credentials, transactions, and smart contract states into queryable formats.
• Integration & API Design: Design robust data APIs and integration patterns to facilitate seamless data exchange with both external partners and internal systems.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
• Demonstrated expertise in SQL, database design (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Proficiency with data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Spark), advanced data modeling techniques (dimensional modeling, normalization), and real-time streaming architectures.
• Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages for data processing and automation; experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• In-depth understanding of data security, privacy principles, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with blockchain data indexing and Web3 analytics, including knowledge of Moca Chain, AIR Kit SDK, AIR Credentials data structures, EVM-compatible chains, and node APIs (RPC, WebSocket).
• Proven track record of building AI-powered data platforms or natural language query interfaces leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders and translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
