Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) - Sign On Bonus Available
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team. We are a clinician-owned and operated home health agency committed to serving the special needs community with experienced and knowledgeable staff. Job Responsibilities
- Assist a Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for pediatric patients with various disabilities and delays.
- Administer physical therapy services in home and community settings.
- Develop and implement physical therapy treatment plans in conjunction with physicians.
- Help pediatric patients develop or regain physical, neurological, cognitive, and social/emotional functioning.
- Educate, coach, and empower caregivers and families to integrate therapeutic activities into daily routines.
- Coordinate with referral partners, such as Early Intervention Colorado, for service provision.
- Design and instruct patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs.
- Document patient care services and care coordination using an electronic medical record system.
- Maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Texas State PTA License
- Current CPR certification
- A minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
