Overview

The Staff Aviation Maintenance Engineer will contribute mechanical expertise in flight test, aircraft maintenance, and system evaluation for revolutionary products.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform flight test maintenance including modification, instrumentation, documentation, and post flight analysis.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, rig and repair aircraft and subsystems.
- Conduct aircraft ground operations: launch, recovery, and engine run-up.
- Perform standard preflight maintenance on fixed or rotary wing aircraft.
- Manage detailed aircraft and equipment documentation and procedural development.
- Troubleshoot and repair support equipment and validate electronic components using multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and test racks.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams communicating mechanical assessments.
- Ensure proper FOD and tool control practices.
About The Test and Evaluation Team
The team supports full system level development testing, production acceptance, sub-component qualification, and more. Work in an innovative, fast-paced environment where your contributions make an immediate impact.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of airframe and powerplant experience.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficient in basic computer applications.
- Multi-capable with some electronics troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Active TS Clearance with investigation within 5 years or continuous evaluation.
- Ability to obtain an A&P license within 1 year.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of Test and Evaluation experience including Flight Test.
- Valid A&P license.
Compensation & Benefits
