About The Team
We are seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to join our ArsenalOS team. In this role, you will architect and implement mission-critical solutions designed to streamline business processes, provide significant leverage to Anduril employees, and scale Anduril into a next-generation defense prime contractor.
About The Job
As a key member of the ArsenalOS team, you will be instrumental in developing Forge, Anduril’s proprietary software for supply chain management, manufacturing, and deployment execution. Your work will involve direct engagement on the factory floor to identify challenges and develop software solutions that address them. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in creating custom software to optimize production, analyze manufacturing data, and drive significant industry improvements. Proficiency in web development languages and industrial applications, coupled with experience in data analytics and visualization, is essential. A solid understanding of modern manufacturing principles and the ability to translate complex manufacturing issues into elegant software solutions are crucial. This role demands a blend of technical skill, innovative problem-solving, and a forward-thinking approach to how software can reshape manufacturing practices.
What You’ll Do
- Own and deliver features for Forge, Anduril’s production platform.
- Enhance our team’s applications through high-quality code contributions and comprehensive test writing.
- Utilize advanced AI tools for development and contribute to our local Forge harness.
- Collaborate with factory floor personnel to facilitate high-rate production of Anduril products like Roadrunner and Fury.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to provide Forge support for the production floor.
- Engage cross-functionally with systems architecture, software product and design, factory systems, and production digital tools teams.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in software engineering, building products, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Deep expertise in at least one area of full-stack web development (backend, frontend, or integration).
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience developing and maintaining large enterprise applications and platforms with high availability requirements.
- Proficiency in web technologies including Javascript, React, Typescript, and web frameworks like React or NextJS.
- U.S. Person status is mandatory due to access to export-controlled data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in hyper-growth startup environments, with proven success in scaling software development processes, team culture, and methodologies, while balancing short-term and long-term objectives.
- Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP), manufacturing execution systems (MES), warehouse management systems (WMS), customer relationship management (CRM) systems, etc.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Hands-on experience in manufacturing industries, particularly on assembly lines.
