About the Job

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our rapidly growing team in Santa Ana, CA. In this role, you will take charge of full cycle PCB design including requirements gathering, schematic design, component selection, layout, bring-up, testing, debugging, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design market leading hardware products.
  • Drive product maturity through rapid prototyping, design verification, and qualification.
  • Apply modern design standards to create high-reliability and manufacturable assemblies.
  • Implement high-speed digital, precision analog, RF, and high-power designs.
  • Establish internal guidelines for design for manufacturing and quality outputs.
  • Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews.
  • Engage in low level firmware development for board bring-up and testing.
  • Perform root cause analysis in support of production operations.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance.
  • 7+ years of professional hardware product development experience.
  • Expertise in PCB layout techniques and schematic interpretation.
  • Familiarity with interfaces such as Ethernet, CAN, I2C, SPI, PCIe, USB, etc.
  • Experience with MCU, CPU, FPGA devices.
  • Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent E-CAD tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MIL-STD-810 and military environmental qualification standards.
  • Understanding of MIL-STD-461 and military electromagnetic compatibility standards.

Compensation & Benefits

US Salary Range: $146,000—$194,000 USD. In addition to a competitive base salary, Anduril offers equity grants, comprehensive healthcare, generous time off, family planning support, mental health resources, professional development reimbursement, commuter benefits, and relocation assistance.
